I have to share this one..Staclynn was about 3..We had been teaching our children they should NEVER play with matches and especially never Strike them. One evening we were traveling and it was thundering and lightening was flashing. Staclynn spoke: Mom is God playing with Matches? Is he striking them? I told him no. I explained about the lightening and stated the thunder was the voice of the lord.
He then ask...If that is the Lords voice..what is he saying? I can't understand his words..
Stac is now laughing over stories of his own children..I do know the Joy that is felt when sharing stories about your children..Mom

Kristy, that's so funny! Lacey has written down a few words that Emma always messes up and it's so funny to hear Addi mess up the same words just because she heard it that way from Emma. Thanks for the story.

I love this little conversation. It reminds me of some of the conversations that me and my youngest son have had. One was when he was potty training and had a pull-up on. I was sitting in the back room on the computer when he came to me without the pull-up on. He said "I Pee in tree." I thought he has peed in the Christmas tree. When I got in the living room where the tree was I found the pull-up under the tree. I ask if he peed in mommy's Christmas tree and he said "no!" I got the pull-up and noticed that he actually used the pull-up. I was relieved that he did not pee in my tree and very proud that he came and told me. He is now 10 years old. When we go over some of the things he said growing up we get a big laugh and grow closer and closer everyday. God Bless you and your family and hope you enjoy this conversation of me and my son.
