Taking Requests
Alright, I’ll have to admit that the sound quality and lighting aren’t the best on this video, but for those of you that have never been to a Voices Won concert this is part of what we do. Usually at some point during one of our concerts when we have enough time, Jaron will take out his guitar and we will take some request. On several occasions we have been stumped, but we usually pull something off that has been requested. So here’s a video of a chorus of “The Lighthouse” and “Beulah Land” from our singing at Top O’ the River restaurant in Gadsden, AL a few weeks ago. Now if you’ll notice we do have a little help in the background, which is kind of the point. Enjoy…….I hope.
I love this part of your program. I actually love all your singing but Beulah Land is my Mom’s favorite song. She went to Heaven two years ago and I have such great memories when you sing this song. You do an awesome job….Thanks for sharing with me..
As always, you guys are such a blessing! Found a couple of old songs….titles are as follows:
Winner Either Way
Standing Somewhere in the Shadows
I Love the Old Bible or God’s Wonderful Book Divine
I looked them up on youtube and they were just beautifully done (two of them accapella).
You guys do such wonderful work/harmony in your music and I would love to hear the first two sung by ya’ll someday 😀
God’s continued blessings.

Loved it. The Lighthouse is my very favorite. You should make it a regular.
We were at your concert at Top O’the River in Gadsden and I requested The Lighthouse. You all did a fantastic job and thanks again for doing the request. We really enjoyed (as we always do) seeing ya’ll in Gadsden – and hope to be able to see you in Ringgold this Friday night.
Blessings,

Thanks guys for what you do for the Lord. You are such a blessing. I, too, enjoy the REQUESTS, but whether it is requests or not I enjoy your harmony. When it comes time for requests, I can’t seem to think of anything I want to hear, but the old ones, which you all may not even know; like, “Haven of Rest”, “Love found a pardon”, “Peace in the Valley”, etc. But at that particular time, I can’t think of one fast enough. Just keep up the Good work for Christ.
Also, can you tell me if it rains tonight at the Courthouse, will you be singing outside or will they move it to the depot or inside the Courthouse?
What a great concert you guys performed in Ringgold!! We really enjoyed seeing and hearing you – first time we had heard Staclynn sing base and WOW! The closing was a classic. Lots of fun. Thanks for doing our request for The Lighthouse again – and for blessing our hearts and spirits. God bless you all,
