Shopping Nuts
I’m just curious how many of you are “black Friday” shopping nuts? I can tell you that my mom keep my girls while Lacey and I started about 10p.m Thursday and got home about 6 a.m. this morning. I also know that Jaron was out in Ohio until at least 3 a.m.
If you went so early what did you go for?
P.S.- both of my brothers were away for Thanksgiving dinner this year so I go both Turkey legs…….it was awwwesome!!
Jaron’s in OH? Really! Where?
I am, too, spending the weekend in Mansfield.
His wife’s family live in the Hamilton area.
Oh my! That is some serious shopping. I went to Lowe’s here in Spartanburg and spent $500 for shelving, etc. for our house here. I didn’t have to go early and I got what I went for. Now I’m happy and Joyce is happy since we got “her” storage room better organized. I’m still trying to work off all that food I ate yesterday.
When it’s all said and done we didn’t really save that much money, but I enjoyed going out with my wife alone and also I love the hustle and bustle. Another fun part is meeting and talking to all the different people. Glad you got your….I mean her shelves finished 🙂
well my daughter and i started out at 10:00 thursday night and got home at 8:40 friday morning then went back out friday afternoon and night after 2 hrs of sleep and the best thing is getting to shop with her and saved lots and lots of money on all the good sales we went to… only one place i had to stand in line for a long time but got a wonderful sayings there…. oh my shopping was a very good time with good savings so of course i am enjoying it and i know everyone that receives the gifts will also by saving lots of money it makes us able to get a little extra for everyone.,,I also would love to wish every a very Merry Christmas and please remember the real reason for the season,….
Didn’t shop a bit, Thursday, Friday, nor today. Prill & I had a good lunch at the Choo Choo thursday. My husband is scrooge. He definitely does not like commercial Christmas. He works second all the time, so I usually have to do it all, but not during all the hustle & bustle. Some
times we can go together in the morning when we do not keep the grandchildren. Glad you enjoyed Thanksgiving, too.
that’s awesome Beverly family time is what it’s all about….Jesus is the Reason! And Evelyn Prill is such a scrooge!!! Love y’all anyway though.
Hello dearest friends: Shantell, Staclynn & Jaron
Just wanted to say hope you all had a great Thanksgiving celebration with family. I got to spend dinner Thanksgiving day with my husband before he had to go to work, and then my daughter, her husband and his family were together for dinner that evening.
Sure wish I could have celebrated Christmas with you all at Powder Springs as I wanted to go so very much, but my “step” grandson sings with the Chattanooga Boys Choir and he sung Saturday night int he Singing Christmas Tree. It was good too, but I missed seeing you all. Anyway, hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you next year (Jan 2011). Will definitely be there as far as I know now. Dont eat too many of those turkey legs, Staclynn, and share with your brothers. Ha! Ha!
