So I walk into his house and “what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a fully decorated Christmas tree and Jaron smiling from ear to ear”. Yep you guessed it! His tree is up and decorated, and he actually has three others decorated too with several more to go!!

I love this time of year too and really wish our tree was already up. We just have two, well four if you count each girl’s room, maybe seven because we have the three smaller ones. “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”….

On Labor Day weekend most of  our family went up to Pigeon Forge and stayed together in a cabin. Lacey and I had been holding in one of the most exciting things a family could share together for almost four weeks. So on Saturday morning at breakfast I walked in with Lacey already sitting at the table and told her that I had a gift for her, so I took out this necklace with the words turned around backwards. So when Lacey turned the necklace around, and after a few awkward moments of confused looks the whole table erupted with laughter, tears, and excitement!

I thought it was about time that I shared this awesome news with everyone. We are actually going today, which will mark our twelfth week, and we are going to hear the most amazing thing ever….the babies heartbeat. I will definitely keep you all updated on Lacey’s and the babies progress…. And yes we are finding out the gender, we are too young to play it old school. So please pray for us as we enjoy this new endeavor.

Just in case you can’t view it, the concert is Friday November 11th starting at 7 p.m. with Triumphant Qt., Karen Peck and New River, and of course Voices Won. Then on Saturday November 12th starting at 6 p.m. with Greater Vision, The Perrys, Mark Bishop and once again Voices Won. Crosspointe Christian Centre is the venue this year just across town and very convenient from interstate 75. Tickets in advance will be $25 for both nights and $15 nightly at the door tickets will be $20 nightly.

The ballot for the first round of voting is in this months issue and it would be awesome if you would nominate Voices Won in the horizon group category.  We do realize that we all have a lot of favorite groups out there so if want to vote for someone else we totally understand…..(well I do but Jaron and Shantell are 2 different stories). Anyway thanks for the support and most of all the prayers.

So once my girls saw the snow they were ready to go out and after just a little coaxing we took them out. Now we don’t have a sled because we just don’t see a lot of snow here, but a friend told us to try our water floats and that’s when the fun began!

For several hours we were outside sledding down our driveway and I thought you may want to see some of the fun we had. I hope you are all staying warm and dry. We look forward to seeing you sometime this year.

P.S.- both of my brothers were away for Thanksgiving dinner this year so I go both Turkey legs…….it was awwwesome!!
