Just in case you can’t view it, the concert is Friday November 11th starting at 7 p.m. with Triumphant Qt., Karen Peck and New River, and of course Voices Won. Then on Saturday November 12th starting at 6 p.m. with Greater Vision, The Perrys, Mark Bishop and once again Voices Won. Crosspointe Christian Centre is the venue this year just across town and very convenient from interstate 75. Tickets in advance will be $25 for both nights and $15 nightly at the door tickets will be $20 nightly.

So far we have definitely nailed down the talent for Friday night, and think most of you will be please to hear that on November 11, 2011 you will be able to come hear Voices Won (of course), Karen Peck & New River and also appearing the Triumphant Quartet!! So how excited are you now? I told you it would be great!! We may have to sing all night!

Karen, Susan, and new comer, Jeff Hawes, make up KPNR. Over the years they have been nominated for Grammy Awards, Karen has won several Singing News fan awards, and they have had several number one songs. To me, and I know I can speak for my brothers, the thing that makes Karen, Susan, and Jeff so special is their sincere hearts to lift up the name of Jesus and to touch and change lives through Him.

I really hope you will make plans to attend our 9th Anniversary, I believe this will be our best one yet. Also please pray that all that attend will be uplifted, the name of Jesus will be glorified, and most of all someone may come to know Jesus as their personal Saviour.

We can’t wait to see you!! Here is what I would call KPNR’s biggest song to date.

You always hear groups and individuals tell you about there favorite groups who inspired them and put the “want to” in their heart.  Let me tell you straight out…no one or no group influenced Voices Won like The Bishops did.  Although the Bishops retired some years ago, Mark continues to be a true encourager to our ministry as a soloist.  He still writes songs and travels the country blessing hearts.

Mark has a very unique “story telling” songwriting ability that simply amazes me.  I am thankful that God uses Mark the way he does.  You will be blessed by his music and testimony.

Now that you are familiar with this name you can just go and read their full biography here. I have personally seen these girls in concert, and oh my goodness! The harmonies and vocal abilities are simply amazing, but most importantly they sing with great conviction.

I’ve included a video of one of their songs, you will probably recognize it too. I really hope you will make plans to attend our 9th Anniversary Singing, because on Friday night you will be blown away by Sisters!

I thought there would be no better place to start than with The Akins. This group is made up of the dad, David and sons Nick, Eli, and Dave. The most unique thing about this group besides being family is that they play all of their own music and also write all of their songs. Everywhere these guys go they manage to appeal to every age group that they minister too, but these guys have only just begun.

In July of 2008 they signed with Crossroads Records. They are two time “Horizon Group of the Year“ nominees by Singing News Magazine, and have received multiple nominations at the Inspirational Country Music Awards including, “Entertainer of the Year,” “Vocal Group of the Year,” and “Christian Country Song of the Year”, and their biggest accolade to date is their recent #1 song on The Singing News Charts, “I Want My Stage to Be an Altar”.

Our good friend Diana Brantley over at sgconcerts.com attended two Akins concerts back on August, 5 and their first live video taping on August, 19. I hope you will make plans to attend our Anniversary Singing this year. On Friday November 12^th you will be able to see these guys perform, I don’t think you’ll want to miss them……I promise.

We were able to finally “coax” a few of our performers to say a few words about us and our singing. We hope you’ll take heed to the words of Danny Jones and join us in 2010. We’re not 100% sure of the talent well except Mark Bishop of course, but we are sure of the dates Friday November 12^th and Saturday November 13^th.
